Our Goals and Objectives

Celebrate and Enjoy the Hunsberger School Community through programs and events such as the Husky Howl'oween Festival, BINGO Nights, Husky Garden, Reno Ice Skate Nights, VIP Dances, Spring Carnival, Give Back Dining Days, Muffins for Moms, Doughnuts for Dads, Reno Aces Night, Teacher Appreciation Week, and End-of-Year Celebrations. Activities that give families a chance to have fun, meet other Hunsberger Families, and create long-lasting memories.  

Support Teachers and Staff. the Hunsberger PTO works side-by-side with school staff supporting safety and education of our students. Our PTO supports Teacher Development with funding each year that allows teachers to attend conferences that will further enhance your child's education. We also have the privilege of honoring teachers and staff during Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week, as well as throughout the year.

Keep Fundraising Simple and Effective by holding our main fundraiser, the PTO Membership Campaign/FUNdraiser, as well as several family fun events which contribute to the total amount of funds raised for the year. We work with the Hunsberger teachers and support staff to make sure the money raised supports our children in giving them the resources and materials they need.
