Hunsberger Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)

We support our Teachers!

Did you know that Hunsberger Elementary school has the highest number of National Board Certified Teachers in our District?  The PTO supports our teachers by setting aside funds for professional development and supporting our teachers by helping out with classroom supplies and volunteer support.  Hunsberger PTO loves our teachers, and we show it by giving our teachers special perks and events such as Teacher Breakfasts / Lunches, Holiday Treat displays, teacher socials and of course, our favorite event......Teacher Appreciation week!!

Where does your money go?

Did you know that most of the improvements or updates that have been made to our school are NOT paid for by our School District, but by the generosity of our Hunsberger families?  Your money helps our school be the best it can be!

In the last few years the Hunsberger PTA / PTO has been able to purchase 3 laptops for each classroom, purchase IPads and updated technology apps such as IXL and Raz-Kids.  Your funds have helped to add hydration stations to our building, new equipment on our kinder playground, replace the soccer field, support our teachers, and offer our children additional programs like Husky Art, Foss Kits Science, Urban Roots Gardening and the Husky Kindness Crew! 

Family FUN!

Your PTO brings fun community activities to our school each year including events like Husky Howl'oween, BINGO, Parent Night Out, dances, and much more! Interested in helping plan some of these events? E-mail the PTO at hunsbergerpto@gmail.com.
